Director – Trilogy Productions


Position Overview:


Trilogy Productions is seeking a Director to direct episodes of new animated series. We’re looking for a well-practiced leader, deeply familiar with the art of animation, our industry, and the television environment. The right fit for this position must have the veteran experience and leadership skills to manage a world-class team while maintaining clear and constant communication with stakeholders throughout the organization. We are seeking a Director who has a passion for creating industry-leading animation. The Director will assist the Executive Producer in overseeing the episodes of the series. The Director is responsible for helping the development of story and associated visuals through the creation of concept drawings, storyboards. The ideal candidate will embrace the challenge of developing branching narrative systemic experiences that will drive the consumer experience forward. The Director will have a keen ability to understand the nuances of animation principles and filmmaking, with an ability to frame these performances in a progressive, visually compelling way.




Primary Responsibilities:


  • Create concept drawings, storyboards, prototypes and visual targets that help define project goals.
  • Collaborates with Executive Producer, Storyboard Teams, etc., to establish standards that hit aesthetic, design and schedule targets simultaneously.
  • Regularly attend and participate in cross discipline meetings and discussions to obtain a deep understanding of project goals and dependencies including mission, narrative, and design components.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to Storyboard Team on visual best practices and personnel development.




Qualifications and Skills:


  • Experience with creative visualization tools (Photoshop, Storyboard Pro and/or equivalent drawing tool).
  • College or university diploma in Animation or equivalent education (preferred).
  • 10+ years in the animation industry.
  • Experience working as a director in animated television.
  • Outstanding modern and classical cinematic fundamentals with an application towards establishing mood, tone, and emotion.
  • Excellent understanding of cinematic storytelling, pacing, and character development.
  • Well versed in a variety of cinematic presentation styles with an ability to adapt as needed.
  • Thorough understanding of animation theory and technique.
  • Solid experience and understanding of character and animation pipelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, both taking and giving direction.
  • Excellent directive communication and an ability to visualize creative ideas when required.
  • Excellent capacity for giving and receiving instructions in addition to giving and receiving constructive, professional critique and direction.
  • Proactive and professional collaboration and communication with other department and related creative or technical areas is essential.

Production Assistant – Trilogy Productions


Trilogy Productions is seeking a Production Assistant to assist the Line Producer and Executive Producer to coordinate the details of projects in order to keep the project on track.




Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Track and coordinate production of all art assets.
  • Communicate with each member of the art team daily in order to assess progress toward meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate with overseas studio about all art questions related to shipped elements
  • Work with art director(s) to break down storyboards in order to assign each piece of the background, characters and props to artists, along with deadlines.
  • Create background reference list for each project
  • Create background color reference list for each project
  • Organize and ensure all artwork is up-to-date for shipping.
  • Meetings with art directors, directors and executive producer to review artwork.
  • Distribute notes to artists.
  • Other duties as required.




Software-Related Skills:

  • Previous computer experience with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications (MS Office suite, including Word and Excel) required.
  • Proficiency with Adobe suite (including Flash, Photoshop and AfterEffects) and Toon Boom Harmony preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications essential.
  • Ability to prepare spreadsheets of varying complexity.




Education, Experience and Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience in production, preferably in animation.
  • Bachelor's Degree in film, art, communications or related field.
  • Working knowledge of production techniques and terminology.
  • Previous experience working with databases, especially FileMaker Pro.
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Technical Administrative Coordinator


Position Overview:


Trinity Broadcasting Network is seeking an experienced Technical Administrative Coordinator in the Corporate Technology and Services group. The candidate will often interact with executives and staff, which require excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This is a fast-paced technology environment, which is requiring flexibility to respond to the inevitable changes in priorities that emerge in the course of the business day.



Primary Responsibilities:


  • Creates and maintains various reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Reviews and codes invoices in preparation for approval/signature
  • Vendor and contractor interface for ordering, scheduling, receiving, and follow up
  • Coordinate IT training and orientation for TBN staff members
  • Other business-related duties as assigned



Additional Responsibilities:


  • Maintains departmental calendars and schedules
  • Coordinates travel arrangements and expense reports
  • Arranges conference calls and meetings
  • Data entry in inventory management system
  • Monitors equipment loaner pool



Qualifications and Skills:


  • Associate or bachelor’s degree

TBN Networks has an immediate opening for the position of PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN at the Tustin, CA studios near Los Angeles.  The successful candidate will have working knowledge in the following areas.



Skills and Knowledge:


  • Studio camera operation and set-up (Live broadcast, multi-camera environment)
  • Studio audio operation and set-up
  • Field camera operation (DSLR’s and various professional broadcast field cameras)

Digital Asset Coordinator


Responsible for assisting the Digital asset manager with TBN’s digital media assets and archive including the archiving, curating, and offloading content received in house. Tracking, organizing, and naming incoming footage for various shoots, series, programs and projects.




Essential Functions and Responsibilities:


· Organization of TBN’s digital media.

· Downloading and intricately organizing cloud based footage.

· Setup and operation of equipment associated with the ingesting, archiving and digitizing process.

· Work with production staff on the scheduling and archiving of new material created during normal operations.

· Administer and maintain data storage platform users and file systems.

· Logging video content and exporting metadata.

· Administration and operations related to the Asset Management System.




Qualifications and Credentials:

Trinity Broadcasting Network, the world’s largest Christian TV Network, is looking for a senior level accountant for our Tustin, California production studios.  This individual will be responsible for various aspects of film and production accounting handling multiple projects on an ongoing basis working closely with our network production team in coordination with our accounting department.

Broadcast Video Editor (Full Time)

The Role:

We are looking for a talented creative editor with a dedication to style and story to join our editing team at our Tustin facility. This position will work directly with Senior Producers and the Lead Video editor to oversee the post-production of a daily network-quality series set to air on the TBN networks. Primary responsibilities will be to edit daily episodes and ensure timely delivery of finished episodes that align with the ministry goals, brand voice, and creative vision for the series.




Qualification Requirements:


  • 2-4 years of professional video editing experience.
  • Detailed working knowledge of Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effects. Experience with keying green screen is a plus.
  • Passion for creating content for our target audience (Christian women) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to details.
  • Efficient Multi-cam editor (able to sync clips and cut).
  • Experience with layering effects and alpha channel graphics.
  • Expert time and project management skills to handle multiple assignments and complete complex jobs under deadline pressure.
  • Strong ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced daily TV environment while maintaining production standards and efficiency.
